Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park

Located in the heart of Denver and celebrating 129 years of fun, Elitch Gardens is Colorado’s only world-class combination theme and water park. From thrilling roller coasters to pint-sized adventures, a splashin' water park and tons of special events, there's thrills for all. The park is open April through October. This year, there’s more entertainment than ever before with exciting new family shows, Dive-In Movies, a free summer concert series and three stunning fireworks extravaganzas that will light up the Denver skyline, plus Fright Fest in October! And don’t miss the breathtaking views of Denver atop the 20-story Observation Tower or while plummeting 200 feet on the Tower of Doom.

Tips for the Park!
• Plan your visit when attendance is lightest. Best bets: Weekdays during the summer and any regular operating day during the months of May, June and September.
• Bring a jacket or sweatshirt for cool evenings. You may store loose articles in a locker near the Main Gate or the Water Park (available during Water Park operating hours).
• Smoking is ONLY allowed in designated smoking areas, this includes electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) and vape pens. See the Park Map & Guide for specific locations.
• Arrange a meeting place and time should your party become separated. The Big Wheel is a common meeting area.
• Stop by Stroller Rental if you need a stroller or wheelchair. Come early, as all rentals are on a first-come-first-served basis.
• Review the park map to familiarize yourself with the park’s layout and to help in plan your day.
• To help you plan your day, pick up a show schedule (available at Guest Relations).
• Plan to start your day at attractions farthest from the main entrance. Also, ride your favorite rides when the park first opens or after 5 p.m.
• To avoid lines, plan to eat at non-traditional lunch and dinner hours.
• Make sure children feel comfortable riding our rides prior to getting in line. Toddlers will especially like rides and attractions that are “pint-sized.”
• Minors must be with a responsible party (18+) for entry/ re-entry after 6:00 p.m.
• If you are traveling with small children take a picture at the start of your day in case you get separated. (See additional information in the Lost Parents section of Park Information)

Directions & Parking

Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park is conveniently located in Downtown Denver. From I-25, go south on Speer Boulevard (Exit Speer South) then turn right onto Elitch Circle. Guests may also arrive via RTD bus or Light Rail. Both options have stops at Elitch Gardens.

Parking is available at Elitch Gardens Theme and Water Park for $20 per vehicle per day in the main lot during the operating season. Season Parking Passes are included with each Season Pass purchased through June 16, 2019 and will then be available to purchase for $50, valid any day from purchase through the end of the operating season. RV parking is $25 per day available at the park. Buses and large passenger vans with over 15 seats can park for free.
